About Lagoon

THE ART OF COMFORT

One could sum up Lagoon's philosophy in three words: elegance, conviviality, safety. Three priorities that Nauta Design's creations are based on. "When we draw the interior of a Lagoon, we aim to optimise the layout of space, while retaining a sober, luminous and comfortable atmosphere. Mario Pedol, co-founder with Massimo Gino of the famous Italian design studio, explains. We favour continuous horizontal lines, so as to emphasise the perception of more harmonious and fluid open spaces, in which geometric precision blends with warm materials." Continuity between interior and exterior, direct and indirect lighting, ergonomics, harmonious proportions, warm atmosphere and spaciousness, Lagoons yachts were the first to value the lifestyle on board a catamaran. Today, they remain a reference.

A BLEND OF TALENTS

Lagoon catamarans are the result of a blend of talents. Talents from the CNB, one of the most respected shipyards in the universe of superyachts, and those from the Bénéteau Group, world leader in leisure boat construction. With confirmed production methods, controlled costs, certified quality, Lagoon's expertise combines attention to detail, creativity and industrial rigour.

Deck and hull structures are infused and vacuum injected; a process which guaranties weight-saving, better quality composite and good environmental protection. The furniture is manufactured by Lagoon in a high-tech cabinetmaking workshop, equipped with digitally controlled machines, with computerised identification of parts and pre-assembly before final mounting. All the furniture panels are made of reconstituted wood: Alpi®, an eco-responsible policy, allowing a wide range of shapes with high quality, long lasting handcrafted finishes.

SHARED GENEROSITY

Lagoon catamarans are naturally generous. They provide spacious and convivial living areas, enabling free circulation between interior and exterior, while integrating luminous cabins.

"Lagoon gives priority to life on board", explains Marc Van Peteghem, the creator along with Vincent Lauriot-Prévost of the naval architecture design office, internationally renowned for its multihulls, VPLP. "Each Lagoon must be different, while belonging to the same family. We endeavour to maintain this feeling of coherence and harmony, when sailing on board a Lagoon. Additionally, as our DNA inclines us to draw seaworthy, safe boats, we strive to reach high, even very high performance levels."
